I once submitted a TM and logo for my company and it took 6-weeks just to complete the search. Then, if the name/acronym already exists then it has to be proven not to compete in the same market and the rules for that are rather draconian.

Thanks for the putting up the contest in the first place. It was fun. I think I submitted over 40 recommendations. LOL
