Abi Loutoo – AKA “Abi-L-ity” is a multi-genre cellist, composer, dancer, producer, session recording artist, educator, co-writer with Eddy Bayes, and film scorer. Her recent work includes stints with Kim Burrell, Ghetto Youths International, DWayne Saint Orbin Bennett, Daniel Landers, The Pushers Music Group, Dayson, Eddy Bayes, Jason Matthews, Brittany Mullen, Leroy Sanchez, Stephen, DJ I-DEE, Tad Nicol, Muir, Justina Shandler, and more. Tours with Joni Fatora, Eddy Bayes, and with Eddy Bayes opening for The Morning Of….She has scored for the award winning film team 1310 Bandits. Abi-L-ity played for Yo-Yo Ma, Janos Starker, Robert Cohen, Carter Brey, and more by her 16th birthday whether performing on international television, the World Cello Congress, American Cello Congress, Strathmore Center for the Performing Arts, or churches with brilliant acoustics and packed audiences. As a member of the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra, Abi-L-ity played on Robert Klein’s HBO Comedy Special “Unfair and Unbalanced”. She studied at the Frost School of Music on scholarship and as an endowment recipient. When not doing all of the above she can be found scratching the art of turntablism on technics tables and a numark M2 mixer and pondering the time she and Grand Wizard Theodore compared hand sizes and realized our hands weren’t that small.
