Growing up in New Orleans, the daughter of a powerhouse attorney and a brilliant blues guitar player, Annie had a weird combination of responsibility and whimsy and controlled chaos.  Her Dad started taking Annie out to play on gigs as soon as they both could get away with sneaking her into bars on Bourbon street, New Orleans at age 13.  Annie’s mother made sure she received an honest-to-goodness degree in her chosen profession of playing the bass from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.  Annie currently plays frequently with Country artists Jennifer Nettles, Amos Lee, Holly Williams, Native Run, Sugarland, Maren Morris and Hula Hi-Fi.
