I chose NS for a few reasons: They look cool as hell! They are easy to travel with; lightweight and smaller than my electric bass, and the NS-NXT is affordable. My NXT stays in tune incredibly well. The band can drive from NC to NY and I can assemble it and go, its amazing!—Grant Emerson
Grant started playing music at 16 opting for bass over drums thinking his parents would be more tolerant of the “noise” coming from his room. At 20 he attended UNCW and studied under Steve Bailey. In 2010 he joined Delta Rae. He always had a desire to play Upright and finally had the impetus to do so, buying the NS-NXT and playing a show 10 days later.
