“Carry the Fire”, debut album from North Carolina band Delta Rae, comes out today on Sire Records (Warner Brothers). Delta Rae blends country, rock, and blues with their rich four-part vocal harmonies, creating an energetic new brand of pop.
Check out these profiles of the band from Rolling Stone and The Washington Post.
Delta Rae features Grant Emerson on NXT4 double bass. Grant has been playing bass since he was sixteen, studying with Steve Bailey at UNCW. He played his first show on an upright just ten days after getting his NXT!
Grant says:
I chose NS for a few reasons: They look cool as hell! They are easy to travel with; lightweight and smaller than my electric bass, and the NS-NXT is affordable.
My NXT stays in tune incredibly well. The band can drive from NC to NY and I can assemble it and go, its amazing!
We’re thrilled to welcome Grant as an NS artist, and we can’t wait to hear more from Delta Rae! Congrats to all!
