Conventional norms of style and construction are replaced by a vision of what is possible rather than what is known, resulting in instruments with extraordinary tonal range and playability, providing exciting new opportunities for musical expression and exploration.
FIN Guitar Highlights
The multiscale fret configuration increases the tension and clarity for the low strings while reducing the tension on the high strings for more supple string bending techniques. Due to the natural arc of the hand as it pivots from the elbow, playability is further enhanced by the fan-like fret geometry.
Individual Fulcrum™ tuning machines provide precise and stable tuning. Low friction, up-facing tuning knobs are convenient and rotate with minimal finger pressure. Machined from aircraft aluminum and hardened steel by RWB, the patented, self-clamping tuning mechanism allows for quick and easy string changes without the need for tools.
The FIN Guitar is balanced so that when it is hanging on a strap the neck remains at whatever angle the player chooses without having to hold it in place. For playing while seated, a folding leg rest is placed so that the guitar is balanced for use with both the right and left leg.
The EMG™ single pickup housing contains four individual S4 passive humbucker pickups, 2 in doubled bridge configuration.
Versatile dual mode electronics allow for a choice between passive or active output. Pulling up on the master volume control switches the Mi-Si Activator™ circuit on, providing low impedance output with 6 DB boost. Rechargeable supercapacitor technology eliminates the need for batteries and requires only one minute for a full charge.
