Prototype Original NS “Bass Cello”

This instrument meets the same high standard for playability and tonal response that are embodied in all NS instruments.

The NS Design Prototype Bass Cello was built circa 2005. With a 34″ scale and a 4ths tuning of E-A-D-G-C, the project ultimately transformed into the NS Omni Bass.  This is one-of-a-kind collectable instrument.  A letter of authentication from NS Founder Ned Steinberger is included with the purchase. The instrument also includes Steinberger’s signature on the backplate.
